Our team at Wandilla Estate chose this parcel for one reason: it's some of the best land on the property for wine — elevated, undulating, east-facing for the morning sun, with a soil profile that stands apart. From the very first vintage, it's produced something distinctive.
The cool climate suits our flagship Pinot Noir perfectly, and the Riesling is its natural counterpart — yin to its yang. The Pinot Noir carries real depth of flavour and character drawn from the soil, while the Riesling brings citrus, pineapple and green apple notes.
Wandilla Estate Rosé is released each spring and available now — ready for the summer ahead.
Our secret is the Spanish variety Mencía. It isn't made every year — only when the season delivers exactly the conditions it needs. Because not compromising is what A grade means.
